Lol, both terms are actually marketing strategy.
If you have multiple rails, you, the end user, must balance the loads. Single rail, you, the end user, can just plug stuff in anywhere and you will be fine. Win for single rail, especially in multiple GPU configs or if the end user is stupid (which lets face it, they generally are)

Just face it, Huntkey X7 is not the best thing since sliced bread, but that is not saying that its carp, its just saying its not the best

In fact there are hardly any genuine single rail PSUs out there, just as there are hardly any genuine multiple rail PSUs. PC PSUs are all a bit of a kludge, due to Intel's vague rail-voltage requirements.

Surprised no one has mentioned Zalman. Incredibly expensive though.

The thing I hate about Huntkey is the the fact that there is no cable sleeving. Makes everything look cheap inside the case.

I can see, just every single Huntkey i've cam across didn't have sleeving.. so I just assumed.. :D
 
The last few PSUs I've picked up have been Mukii Asrocs, and I'm very happy with them.

I'm not a true Geek, so I don't run tests, etc. on 'em and can't say it's this or that voltage, etc. but they're well built, pre-sleeved and come across as quality items to me.
 
Yes the X7 Range is covered with sleeving, and the next batch(250pcs from factory) of Huntkey X7 1200W power supplies will arrive in South Africa with all the modular cable sleeves the same as the fixed ones. At the moment the are black sleeves.

Extreme Power is lousy and GX series is unacceptably highly priced for the levels of fluctuation it has. Realpower is pretty decent though.
