good power supply brands

Jip, looking at best sellers, almost only sellers except for one or two who bought CoolerMaster (and regretting it) it's definitely Corsair..

Seasonic. The great Corsair PSU's are rebranded Seasonic PSUs.

True story.

Add another vote for Corsair brand power supplies. Use them in three of my rigs and, to date, have had no problem with any of them :)

Though Thermaltake PSUs have treated me well in the past as well.

what do you think of coolermaster? Is is a good brand for a power supply ?

I had 2 die on me on my personal computer in the last 6 months. I didn't even bother getting the last one swapped out and bought a Corsair. Really, read other threads on what components to get and see how many tell you to stay away. Price wise Corsair is one of the best.

All 4 of my desktop machines run CoolerMaster PSUs and they've never missed a beat. Read some of the older PSU forum posts and you'll see many different opinions on what people think is best.

Like with many electronic brands, some model-ranges are better than others. Corsair's VX, HX and TX series are excellent and have 5 year warranties. The CX series is their budget range, with a 3-yr warranty. I'd only trust Coolermaster's GX range.

I tend to agree with the peeps on the Corsair (Seasonic OEM) psu's you won't go wrong.

I also used Coolermaster PSU's in the past as well - if you are on a budget - I have not had one die on me yet.

I'm sure many have said it, and I will back it up:

CORSAIR!

Second-place imo is the Coolermaster GX and Gold series.
