Nope. No shaping at all.

Even if you do a few GBs of torrents during the day they should work full speed too.

I think you getting confused between shaping and throttling. i'm talking as reducing the overall line speed of using to much bandwidth.

Shaping: limiting specific protocols
Throttling: limiting all protocols

OK, so you changed someone's quote (throttled to shaped) without saying so - not cool.
Now you make a claim about no daytime shaping. Which service exactly are you referring to, coz that's quite rare for uncapped!
 
I'm in the same boat and have kicked MWeb to the curb. I was getting lag playing Fifa (ps3) against a friend also on mweb.

1st December I need a new ISP. I'm looking at Web Africa uncapped. I have several people in the house and can't be worried about bandwidth usage in this day and age.

He was asking about throttling, but if you on 5stars you don't get either.
 
Well I just tried to sign up for a Connection 4mbps account. It says its active and I can even check the stats on the IS tracker but the account won't authenticate on my router or even via a PPPoE connection. So perhaps give that a miss. Now I wait for support.

Change your password to a shorter one.

I think I saw your answer to this somewhere, but can't find it anymore, so my apologies.

Will I get shaped when streaming during the day? I am using Netflix and Kodi which streams roughly 9GB/day?

Thanks for the help but it didn't work. My original password was only 8 alphanumeric characters and now I just tried 1234 to test your suggestion but alas, no luck.

@OP have you decided on anything yet?

Strange, I had that problem once when I had special characters in mine, and was about 50 characters long, now its 8 characters alphanumeric aswell. I once made a password "telkomsux" and that worked :D:p
 
Go to Webafrica . . . I've been with them for 8 years and their transparency allows you to pick a package that will REALLY suite your needs. P.S. - they're also pretty cheap ;-)
