All Over...
Well, it was good while it lasted. WA is a total disastrous case nowadays and I'm moving away to Telekom...SAIX is much better ( I'm talking experience here...AT THE MOMENT! )

Which ISP would you guys recommend that uses a SAIX backbone, or should i just stick going to Telkom. Luckily I'm a Computer Tech and don't need assistance regarding networks and stuff...i just need a "stable" ISP...the rest I'll do myself ( setting up, etc )

its for business....uncapped is to slow...if you wanna go 4mb/s...you pay about R3000-00

THIS time, i'll ask the provider to give me JUST 1 day for free ( if they would)...this way i can check if the "lagging" isn't to bad :(

I use it for downloading drivers, or updated patches for customers...so 25gig is over enough for me :-)

So i hear....at the end, its better to stick to an ISP that does EVERYTHING....if the ***** hits the fan, you need only dial ONE place...instead of THIS one...always blaming THAT one...

Customer support isn't as good as Webafrica, I moved from Cybersmart to Webafrica due to their product not performing correctly, well for me anyways.

To be honest with you i took up the 1mb trial offer. at first they got it wrong and put me on a 348 line. once that was fixed, every was perfect. havent had to call them since. I get constant speeds of 105kB/s using news serves. Slowest speed was 45kB/s. Dont do much online gaming so i cant comment there. The only reason i was looking for a different ISP is because i want to move to a 4mb line. telkom its very expensive when it comes to a 4mb line. Rumor has it that telkom will be moving the 1mb line to 2mb line. if thats the case, no need for a 4mb line. SAIX is alot better than it use to be. The new fibre that they have been laying should come into play very soon.

I was a client of WA for YEARS...but lately things just seems to go "high-wire"...like our roads...potholes all over the show...beeing attended to, but no change...

i use to get 25 Gig PLUS my 4mb/s line ( included) at WA for only R618 ( remember, that's INCLUDING my line). BUT....whats the use having a GOOD offer...but your limited to reliability?

Have to agree. Never thought I'd want to do this, but I already gave my cancellation notice and will be joining Mweb at the end of March. Been using an Mweb trial account the past week and just had an overall better experience....plus the warning letter WA sent me also gave me a nudge ;)

Hi Robin Hood,

If you'd like, I can arrange for a sales consultant to contact you and set you up with a trial account.

Just PM me you contact details.
