I think Google have done this better than FB tho, you can chose to publish your "accomplishments" to everyone or to just the ppl in specific circles.

That is just it, I do not care how many sheep died on your farm, I do not care if or when you play games, why tell me about it? (Revenue for developers is the only reason.)

You can choose to share your gaming endeavours with certain circles, but can you as the recipient of these annoyances block all such posts? Not in Google+, in Facebook you can at least ignore all requests by an individual.

You can ignore all requests from people in G+ as well, I'm sure.. and if you can't you will be able to shortly

Good news, it seems that not only can you narrow game posts to your custom circles, it only appears under a Games Stream on the games page So you can share your scores to hearts content and people will only see it when they're in the gaming mood.

the developers obviously got a lot of farmville requests.

i hope the clamp down on rubbish groups. if you're stupid enough to believe apple is giving away 50000 iphones to be tested, then when you login, you should get redirected to facebook, which will become the world's online social outcast hangout.
