Any Fails lately?

I got a logout error with Google chrome.. after logging out of FNB this morning

Other than that, its not to bad.

Yeh - use it all the time :) Only time I don't use it is for credit card payments, and internet banking - always gives funny errors.

its exactly the same reason with me...

Its the only errors I get. (So far)

Yeh - same. I just have Chrome and IE (which I use for banking) - but IE 8 is a freakin nightmare, slow, crashes alot, etc.

True - I had the same problem With IE7 And I'm not going to update to IE8.

Slows down the machine and internet. They should find an alternative way to tweak windows XP IE series.

I use Chrome (beta channel at home, stable at work), IE8 (work and home), and Firefox (primary browser). Chrome is quick, but the add-ons I use in FF keep me coming back.

I just got a Error msg from Google Chrome saying

"Whoa! Google Chrome has crashed, Restart web page?"
"yes or no"

** I was busy loading a new window.

First error for the last month since using the app.

FNB is not supported by Google Chrome

I had the same problem using Chrome with my FNB banking and I called them - they said FNB internet banking is not supported by Google Chrome adn so you shouldnt use it - I like FireFox the best! My IE also give me problems every now and again. Tend to switch between the three depending what I need to do.

Chrome is overrated, people just jumped on the wagon because its google, its honestly nothing that special, giving processes to each page is just a resource hog.

Giving each tab its own process is a God-send. IE8 now does the same too, and it's a big help when a tab crashes. Firefox is gonna have to play catch-up here. I'm using Chrome 2beta at home, and it's stable enough for everyday use. I just need to find an AdBlock extension for it, and I might be weaned off Firefox (I know, heresy :D). Until Firefox 3.5, that is. ;)

My Firefox works perfectly fine with lots of tabs open, chrome will just make those 10mb' processes instead:) thanks but no thanks.

I believe that there are no extensions for Chrome as yet, Google don't even have a toolbar for it!

The extensions are what gives the Fox it's power, I've become so reliant on my extensions that until similar extensions are available on other browsers I can never let it go...
Chrome 2 has support for extensions. I know - I'm using a few for GMail.

The other thing I enjoy is the Incognito mode. I use it regularly to open 2 GMail accounts simultaneously. I know, FF3.5 has it too. ;)

Short comings for me....No adblock plugin (not possible to browse the internet without it) and there is no NTLM authentication which sucks ass. I might give chrome more face time if it integrates those 2 features.

Well, startup speed up Chrome is at least light-years ahead of all the browsers. I can click the icon and within 2 seconds the browser is up and running with iGoogle as my home page. No other browser (in my experience) comes close to that...

Beta 2 of FF3.5 is out - you should give that a try.
