Ordered the official bumper from ebay and a screen protector too. Currently keeping the factory plastic on till they arrive

FYI... I have been running CM10.1.0 the last few days and its been very good! My signal loss issues seem better. Previously used various nightlies.
I keep it in my pants pocket (the phone of course) which keeps it kind of finger print free, looks like a new phone every time I pull it out.
Are you using it naked?
Yep no bumper and no protectors....very weary where i put it though, after seeing that Gorilla Glass and the sand issue.
I'm still amazed at how smooth the back is, it'll honestly slide off anything.

Yip, those stupid video's all over YouTube where people use knives, coins and keys against Gorilla Glass. Try that with just one grain of sand and see what happens!
It's usually sand that causes scratches on glass.
Can't see anything on the bank, even held it at an angle in the light to see the slightest hairline scratches and there's nothing.
The only thing that irritates me is lint in the ear speaker. It's the only recessed part of the phone and is a magnet for lint.
Yeah or the charging port!
I took my cover off yesterday and the phone just felt amazing again!

Friend of mine has the iPhone 4S and his earphone jack was FULL of pocket lint, he started listening to music at work with phone recently for the first time and started noticing the sound was fading in and out and so had a look at the socket and it was like a treasure chest in there.
I have a feeling dust\water proof phones will become the norm very soon, just makes so much sense.

I just ordered a white Nexus 4 for my GF on Amazon. She has fallen for my holo-warrior pro-stock propaganda. She's coming from a BB Curve, shes in for a shocker.

yeah incl tax is about R5000 so R100 saving but If the phone bugs out I would end up spending more on shipping it back. However Amazon is kinda good with refunding or RMA-ing ****ty goods. So I am not too stressed
I would have gone for esquires deal had I gotten the marketing e-mail 5hours prior ;D oh wells now I gotta wait 5 days for shipping
