Google Nexus 4

anyone tried cm10.2 nightlies guys?feedback?

Yip... Had to install GApps for 2.3 to get the play store working, and then reinstall you-tube from the play store. But overall, stable so far. Not much difference that I can see. Camera app is slightly different, I think its the CM version that they have been working on. Had a little issue with it when I started. After taking a pic, it saved a blank all black file. Changed to HDR and it worked properly, changed back to std and it worked fine again...

thanks a lot for the feedback :)
there should be 2 camera apps
camera and focal - focal is the new one
camera is the normal app- might look slightly different because 4.3 the camera ui is slightly changed

keep the feedback coming:)

Aaaa... Found "Focal" unfortunately keeps crashing :( Let me reboot...

Tip:
BTW once you load 2.3 you need to re-enable developer mode (tap on build number in the "about phone" to enable) Then in developer options I enabled "Advanced Boot" so that when you reboot it will give you options on the type of reboot you require...

Nope ... Focal just crashes.... arrr :(

Edit: Downloading CM-10.2-20130815-Nightly... Will see if it fixes it.

So, I'm currently running ParanoidAndroid 3.97, which is 4.3 based. I must say, it is significantly quicker and smoother than I had on 3.69 (4.2.2 based). Battery life seems better as well.

I decided to do a full wipe, on my N4... format and clean! I had been through so many roms & updates plus installing / uninstalling apps. Not to mention a cr@p load of photos, video clips, music & Whatsapp content... was down to 300mb ram :(. Running the nightlies with no issues. Quite happy with it. Also trying Buzz launcher ... also nice.

My battery has been terrible since I upgraded to CM10.2 :(

At first I thought it just needed to go through a couple of charge cycles but it's still poop.

So my stupid bumper cracked along the metallic-looking edge that surrounds the USB port. Split right in two.

Some superglue should fix it, but I think the time has come for a case. But I'm also considering the option of a full body skin. What do you guys suggest?

Go for something like an xtremeguard or skinomi or gadgetshield and use it naked. Cases are siff cause dust gets under them! Microscratches are baaaaad

How did you do that?!

I have no idea how it happened. Only thing that I can think of is that the stretching of the cover pulled it apart. It's minor, but annoying.

I don't think they're that robust. Might cracked in the same place, though I did admittedly take it off & put it on fairly regularly. Replaced with a Rearth Ringke Slim case, which is great - adds very little bulk.

My N4 still "nude" never used a protector... still looks good (back a little scratched) one or two small scratches on the front...

Same sort of situation that happened to mine- I did take it off fairly frequently (this is the fault of the headphone jack slot being too small for my headphones).

But I think I will end up getting something similar to yours. Wish it came with a white surround though...
