Google Nexus 5

Was out having lunch at rand airport with the family today. Was taking some pics and suffered the most insane frustration with the camera. The images were coming out so dark. If I moved the phone ever so slightly I could get a brighter image but had to keep doing this. I have never experienced such a bad cell camera - ever.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a trick to getting good - bright - images?
Using the Google camera and running 4.4.2.

Not tested video yet.

Did you get the latest camera app? Should have automatically updated?

Long shot - but try it with HDR+ on and then off - see which one works best for you.

Was thinking of purchasing the Nexus 5 or G2, but realised I can wait a bit longer for the G3 or Nexus 6. Hopefully (as rumoured), the G3 will be announced on the 17th of May though. Don't think I can hold out until the end of the year :p.

Force yourself!

I'm trying but the S2's really kark battery life is getting to me. Also, for some inexplicable reason, sometimes the battery just drops a lot after I've restarted the phone due to the Wi-Fi toggle not working properly.
Get a new battery - there's an oke on BoB selling Samsung batteries really cheap.

Will help with the wait!

Just purchased a red Nexus 5! So excited! Time to move on from my iPhone 4s :D

So, my nexus 5 just arrived.

Anyone know how much Vodacom charges for a sim swap? Or should I cut my sim with some scissors?
