Got it from Motorola in the US , I originally wanted the blue ,but after seeing the reviews and that it was a finger print magnet I opted for the white and I am very glad I did . It is not a bright white (Like the Samsung's for example) and really looks and feels very good . The phone just feels really good in hand ,extremely premium feel with really good build quality .

I had a choice between this and the Note 4 and I am really glad I opted for the Nexus 6 .especially now after having it in hand . I was wanting the 64gb version ,but there was No stock and it was back ordered , so I decided to go for the 32gb . The phone is crazy fast with No lag whatsoever , really great experience coming from Samsungs touchwiz (which I do not mind) .

Good to hear. How did you get it into the country if you ordered it directly from Motorola?

I got it sent to a friend in the US and then had it Couriered over to me here in SA . I got the Samsung Note Pro like this as well , worked out way cheaper than getting it here as Incredible Connection are wanting something like R13 000 for the Note Pro 12.2 Tablet . I ended up only paying like R6500 for the Note Pro tablet , really good price .

The Spigen Covers I got from Amazon as well as the screen protectors and I got a couple of covers for my LG G3 as well . Had it all consolidate with my Friend in the USA and then had it all shipped over here .

Thanks , I had a Note Tab (2013 version) and really enjoyed it , I ended up using the S pen on it a lot and so went for the Note Pro 12.2 . What a great Tablet , I really love the size .

So I have had the Nexus 6 for a couple of days now , i have started a bit of a brief review which I hope to post a little later . So far really loving it , it is just stupid fast with no lag at . I have always been a big fan of the Samsung devices and they do make some of the very best devices out there , but truth be told after using stock android on the Nexus 6 for 2 days well I just do not know if I could ever go back to touchwiz .

You really notice the pure android experience when it comes to the Ram use for example . I compared the Nexus 6 to my Note 3 (which I had reset as I am giving it to my Father in law) with the same apps open and there was a huge difference in Ram use . The Note 3 had used something like 1.7Gb vs the Nexus 6 that had used just shy of 700mb !

Yes I do realise that the Note 3 and 4 have a lot going on in terms of extras like multi window etc etc ,but truth be told I must have used Multi window maybe a handful of times in my 1 years use of my Note 3 and ill gladly give it up for the benefits of stock android and updates .Overall really happy with the Nexus 6 thus far .

Well after my second charge cycle I am really loving the Nexus 6 battery life , so far I am on 6h 53min on screen time and the battery is sitting at 6% . Not bad at all and that is with no power saving features enabled . So the tweaks they did on the battery with the update I received seems to be paying dividends so far .

Congrats , which did you go for (white/blue 3gb or 64gb)

I had 3g on ,but I was tethered to wi-fi for around half the time . Location services were off and the display was on adaptive brightness (adjusts itself) .

I went for the midnight blue 32gb.

Your usage sounds similar to mine. Something I do aswell is use Tasker to set my phone to 2g when the screen is off to save even more juice.

I do find the possibility of the screen burning in too quickly slightly disconcerting. It might be too early to tell but are you seeing anything such as this in video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKAWr9PjWjw
