I got mine yesterday - its great, only problem is that I have gotten back into the apple ecosystem especially with iOS14 that was out this week.
For this reason I am selling the pixel 4A for R7900 including the screen protector etc.

Also pulled the trigger today and did a format. My face unlock would just stop working at random times and only a reboot would solve it.
Bit of pita but luckily with Google backups it's quick and easy.

Yeah those sellers send directly to SA but are more expensive. If you use Aramex Global Shopper and use the US address you can get the phone for $350. Import duties will likely be around the same.

Got my pixel 4a about 3 days ago, absolutely love it! a friend of mine was on his way back from the UK so I shipped it to his place before he left. Paid about R7200 in total and ordered 2 of the spigen tough armor cases as well, realy like the case. I wish they would sell these phones in SA through the google store, this is everything I want and need in a phone, very happy with my purchase.

Google Pixel 4a does well in DxOMark review but can’t compete with multi-cam setups
Google’s Pixel 4a is the search giant’s most affordable smartphone option at the moment. Pixels are known for their camera prowess and the 4a’s single rear-facing 12.2MP shooter was put to the test by the folks over at DxOMark.
The hardware here is identical to last year’s Pixel 4 and 4 XL, namely a 1/2.55-inch sensor with 1.4µm pixels and f/1.7 aperture. There’s OIS and dual pixel PDAF combined with Google’s excellent image processing algorithms.
While decent on paper, these specs managed to net the Pixel 4a just 111 overall points which positions it towards the bottom of the rankings. The result matches the score of Huawei’s Mate 20 X which came out back in November of 2018.
