The pump storage scheme it seems doesn’t allow 24h sustainability. When the country is on Stage 2, we in CT are on Stage 1, but only between 06h00-22h00 otherwise we are on Stage 2 like everyone else, but this is a scheme that may change at any time. I haven't seen a single app that takes this into account.

Just remove the discussion board, simple really. Your app doesn't need a discussion board. People discuss all those things in WhatsApp and Telegram.

Part of me wants to say: “but it is useful for non-loadshedding power outages to see the extend of the outtage" but then I remembered the only discussion I had on the chat function was telling people that "no it is not loadshedding but a power outtage don't you understand the difference?!"

And so yes I agree, remove the function.

Why would you want to do that when you can get push notifications with all the relevant times already listed for your area. Also you would not know when to check the website if someone, social media or the news did not tell you take load shedding was incoming.

Actually many times it fails to load...

Always preferred load shedding notifier personally.

Same here. Incorporates all of the schedules with no extra features for which I'd download another app if I wanted it. Although for some reason this little pocket of ours always gets skipped with load shedding.

It has been spot on for us, unless City Power strays from the published schedule or has issues unrelated to load shedding.

iOS is hardly big here. Last I checked Android had over 90% marketshare here. Reason number 672 why I buy Android phones since local apps are released on it first.

Authorities should have broken up Google LOOOOONG time ago and handed some of its business functions to newcomers and competitors. One company should not have the type of powers a company like Google has, to the extent where it can manipulate elections and silence people they want to.
