Google verification SMSs on MTN

hi there,

I'm on an MTN contract am an trying to set up Google mobile notifications (https://www.google.com/calendar, then Calendar settings | Mobile Setup).

I don't receive Google verification SMSs. I've tested sending them to Vodacom and CellC phones - those work - but not my MTN phone.

I receive Facebook notifications - so it doesn't look like MTN blocks shortcodes. Anyone on MTN that receives Google SMSs?

I receive them google SMSs, both for Logon and Notification. I'm on MTN contract as well.

I'm on MTN and my login SMS verifications stopped working months ago. They worked fine for a little while in the beginning.
