The home button on my iPod Touch has stopped working. This thing is almost brand new...it's pretty much useless without that button.

If you can recall, I bought it from iGear, and so far I haven't gotten a response to my email.

Does anybody know if I can take it into an Apple authorised store? With my luck they won't be able to honor the Apple warranty if I didn't buy from them.

Damnit. I wish we had proper a proper Apple presence in SA.

iirc iPods come with a world wide warranty so you should be able to send it to Core in JHB.

Beats me. I've been treating it like a baby.
I'm guessing the little piece of rubber/paper/whatever that makes contact on the PCD came loose somehow. :/
