From Telkom,

They asked us if we'd like to Upgrade our 512 line to 1024 @ R16 per month more, since everyone on 512 is going to be upgraded or something like that.

If I wasn't with Telkom ISP I had to pay R87 more, now I pay only R16

They said the upgrade will be on Friday or Saturday.

Good thing I didn't decide to upgrade a few months ago when I asked you guys about the lines

If you currently have a 3gig account with telkominternet it should be costing you R239pm plus R326 for a 512 line i.e a total of R565pm. By upgrading to do3 option (4meg line with 3gig account) the comparitive monthly cost is only R554, a saving of R11pm. I am confused as to where the R16 increase comes in

I did receive a mail from telkom about 2 weeks ago - they said there were going to be some changes on the 1st Sept regarding packages/pricing - I hope this is the start of some more good news!!

Gamco's speed test sucks. I download at 400K easily, it's fun!

The lady who I spoke to said that all the 512 users will be upgraded to 1024, so I'd think 384 guys should get 512, no?
