Got an email today saying my application was successful!:D :D :DSuper stoked!
I know there is a thread about it somewhere but my search keeps failing :(
 
Got mine as well.

8 tickets for the group stages. My quarter final and semi final was unsuccessful. Need to buy again in the next phase.
 
Why aren't we allowed to choose which games we want to go to? Will this stage ever become available?

Granted they are not the best tickets but atleast I got something!

So my mate and I are going,just hope his tickets are successful then we go to another game.

My semi and quarters were a fail too but I'm still stoked.

Yes. The next phase is first come first serve and you can choose which game you want to goto.

There are still a few more phases.

Oh okay. So just out of curiosity why don't you guys just wait until the next phase is in action? Then you can actually choose which games you want to go to as opposed to this lucky packet scenario?
 
I think the lucky packet is cheaper and I don't want to stand in insane lines from 3am to get tickets.

Thats one of the best matches in Cape Town, since its two highly ranked teams.

In 2006 it was Brazil vs Aus but could also be Portugal vs Mexico or Argentina vs Netherlands..

Its guaranteed to involve one of the top 8 teams in the world.

A3's defense has been shaky over the last year so A4's attack must be licking their lips. What a game that's gonna be.

As for F1, lets just hope Hamilton doesn't quit...;)

I got 4 tickets to group stages and 2 to quarter finals. Bastards, this is really a stupid way to sell tickets. Anyway, I'm getting rid of these, I sure as hell ain't sticking around here during the World Cup. I'm outta here. Already renting two of my apartments out for a great rate and I'm going on holiday.

It is going to be absolute CHAOS in this place!
 
Has anybody received the email confirmation AND have money taken by FIFA?

If so, could you please tell me what the status section says when you log into the FIFA website?

I received the email confirmation, but haven't had money taken - getting a bit nervous as, apparently, if they've not taken money by 1 May you forfeit the tickets.

There is a link in the status that lets you pay for your tickets.Going to pay for mine now.Will let u know what happens.

I've been parked on the website for days now (first saw that I had tickets on the website the day before the elections, only received the email on Saturday), and can't find a place for payment - bar, of course, the original application form.

Didn't have the funds in my account last Tuesday, but I do now - I hope I've not "defaulted" and forfeited the tickets :(
