Hi Gents.
I run a Nature Reserve and need a way to track my trackers (location wise) and give them a way of taking photos of possible problems. The phones need to be robust and cheap (we do not get massive grants for conservation). I have no idea what to look for, my own phone is a Samsung and over 5 years old. What can you reccomend? What muct I be willing to pay? Is there any other way of achieving the same goals (photos and GNNS) that I do not know of?

Thanks for the help chaps!

Oukitel and blackview offer budget friendly rugged Android phones.. you would have to look into the different models on offer to see which price point is going to hit the GPS requirement..

Gsmarena is a good place to compare specs..

Blackview are decently priced. But they are kak slow and my wife managed to break hers...

@Swebeswebe it depends on how many you need and what you consider cheap.
If i were you, i would go with something like this: Oukitel
It has a MASSIVE battery, 4gb ram and since they're not planning on using it for live video streaming of their tracking, should be strong enough to maintain tracking signal and take the occasional picture.

Maybe take a look at the CAT phones as well.

Not the cheapest but I have broken every phone I own since my Sony K810i and this is the first phone I have had for a year with no damage.
