I do think it is bad to give the game a date, only to postpone it. They should have said that it would be postponed to Q4 2026, but I do think that it is more realistic to see the game release sometime in 2027. This could also allow them to release the PC version sooner rather than later. The only time such a big title should announce a release day is when it goes gold and opens pre-orders.

I thought those rumours of a new Holiday 2026 Xbox were shut down.

The guy who leaked the Magnus apu for the next Xbox says it’s targeting 2027.
 
The PC platform is only 11% their total revenue:

I do not think this delay has anything to do with a PC version but I could be wrong of course.

This whole union busting thing is crazy ballsy to do in the UK. Rockstar all but certain going to get dragged to court and face penalties for it but I guess they reckon this route was cheaper than the alternative.
