Grand Theft Auto 6

It looks great and stuff, but this Bonnie & Clyde thing they have going on seems a bit meh. Don't see how they would be humorous, where GTA V had 3 protagonists who each had proper lol moments. Any humour would probably come from the side characters.

And htf are you going to visit any strip clubs in peace when you have a ball & chain tagging along...

Obviously they won't be together all the time. It'll be like gtav and they'll only be together during story missions.

Also, Niko, Luis, Johnny, CJ, Tommy, Claude etc weren't funny either. Humour pretty much always comes from side characters and radio etc. Trevor is the only actual, proper funny main character imo.

Let's wait until actual game and actual reviews ;)

Talking specifically about the standard set by GTA V, since this is going to be a sequel to that. Michael and Franklin weren't on Trevor's level but they had their moments too...

Read an article that certain stores won't be available unless you have the Deluxe. Also talk of a mission/gang takeover also being included for Deluxe.

Fine for cosmetics but don't I dunno how I feel about content being locked.

Trying very hard to remember a funny Michael or Franklin moment but can't think of any lol.

Franklin's aunt is funny and so is Michael's family. The two of them are dead serious though. Not as serious as Gay Tony's emotionless Luis.

They did it with Red Dead Redemption 2. Deluxe Edition had three extra missions, and some extra things. Ultimate added some things to multiplayer like a horse and guns. I can't remember... but Rockstar has been here.

2K tried the same with Borderlands 4, and in the end they diced it up into DLC. Take-Two is doing it here too, except that they know this is GTA and not Borderlands, so you are edition gated.

People will pay, they do after love to feed the pigs. Just see how we do it here keeping gravy steady. Haha.

It's rare that you can say a game will be the bestselling game of that year, and the likely Game of the Year winner, before it's even released. But that's where we're at with Grand Theft Auto 6 when it’s set to come out this November. And now publisher Rockstar Games confirmed preorders will begin at midnight local time on June 25 for an eye-watering $80, with an ultimate edition available for $100.

The standard price for big-budget games is $70, but there had been speculation that GTA 6 could cost more; especially since Nintendo priced Mario Kart World for $80 on the Switch 2. Now it seems the rumors were right.

We’ll certainly be updating everyone in the meantime. The wording being shared could be getting misconstrued, so we don’t want to take a definitive position until we know for sure.

Thank you for the kind words.

We do have fairly high hopes of an actual physical release arriving at a later date. They definitely could’ve gone with digital only if this was the plan all along, this situation is hurting Rockstar more than it needs to.

I am 100% convinced that this is social marketing to bring attention to their store. VGP on the other hand seems to be long established, though they haven't really made a decision either. The game preservation stance is noble though, but something tells me that seeing that this game MAY launch digitally only, could be that the game has an online ecosystem aside multiplayer. Say it is so, it might have a lot to do with how Rockstar enters into licensing agreements. Time will tell...

I am curious to see this game's EULA.

Hypemaxxxing - got to work it just right to cash in and get in on the ride.

Wonder if Koodoo will match the PS Store pricing. I see their Wolverine is R200 less.
