i now hate chelsea and hope they become a nothing again

he took over from a poor chelsea team who didnt look like making the champions league cut, was behind in the league

he took them to a champs league final which john terry threw away by trying to be a hero instead of letting essien finish the game off

he took the league to the final day

what a bunch of lamers to fire him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why can't he coach the south african soccer team? haha... us making it to the 1st round is as amazing as chelsea making it to the final

Even a blind man could see that Grant was not going to be accepted as chelsea manager. Guess frank rijkaard will be joining up with his buddy henk ten cate.
Grant = Boredom personified. Dont know one chelsea fan that liked the guy.
Goodbey avram:)

Unfortunately the coach/manager takes the stick when the team doesnt perform. WRT to chelsea, drogba must get around 50k pound a WEEK, and he can't even exercise a level of self control that makes him think twice about raising his hand to other players. I reckon he should be sacked, because I think chelsea might have done better with him taking a penalty.

Sad to see Grant go. Chelsea fans across the world wanted him to be sacked, even in his homeland Israel.

I think he did a brilliant job. No doubt that Frank Rijkaard will doa better job though. What erks me is the fact that everybody criticised Grant cos of his lack of emotion when Chelsea played.

If they sign Frank, they in for the same ride. He too isnt flamboyant. He just sits back and watches the game play out. Thats what got to most Barca supporters.

YES YES YES I AM BLOODY HAPPY!!! :)

I hate him, no bloody qualifications outside of Israel - he deserves to move - Mr I will never sub till we have lost a game grant - YAY this is like an early birthday gift :)

J

I have only two Chelsea managers tha I really really revere - Ruud Guillit and Jose Mourinho - those are the two I realy miss - Avram was a nothing to me did not like him from the moment he stepped in, little backstabber gets what he deserves.

oh well.. avram was good..hopefully all this manager hopping will put chelsea mid table ;)

Jose Mourinho has described Chelsea's season as 'really bad' and insists the London club's campaign could only be described as great by someone with 'the philosophy of a loser'.

The former Chelsea boss was speaking before his successor Avram Grant was sacked, but was critical of the 52-year-old Israeli's short stint in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho, when asked if the season had been a good one as depicted by Grant, told The Observer: 'That depends on your philosophy of leadership.

'In my philosophy it was a very bad one because in football 'almost' means defeat and Chelsea almost won the Carling Cup, almost won the Champions League and almost won the Premier League. Almost is nothing.

'After two titles per season for the last three years there were zero titles this season, which in my philosophy means a really bad season. Maybe in the philosophy of a loser this was a great season, which I respect.'

Mourinho admitted to being 'very sad' at Chelsea's defeat in Moscow to Manchester United, adding that the supporters, the board and many of the players 'deserve more'.

However, he sounded a note of optimism, adding: 'I believe that after an empty season new success will come to Chelsea. And I will always be a Chelsea supporter.

love how jose mourinho can say this when he left grant with a mess to fix

behind in the league, struggling in champions league

he is partly to blame for chelsea not being closer or running away with the title

grant took a club in decline and did really well for 3/4 of a season

pity he has not been GIVEN AN ENTIRE SEASON

oh well
just be glad you dont support chel$ki :D and that your club has level headed management and directors

Seriously killer sometimes you smack of being really daft - Struggling in the champions league? That was 1 game in - how the hell can you be struggling one game in...

Mess to fix - he left him with hundred of millions of pounds in players - mess pffft - thats a dream for most managers if not all.

As for a club in decline - lol dont make me laugh any harder please

Stupid opinion in my opinion. I actually started to enjoy watching Chelsea after Grant took over. I'm afraid this is what happens when you have businessmen making footballing decisions. :o

jsheed go read some more wiki, seems u need to look up alot more than united in 1521

The pressure is on Chelsea, Jose Mourinho admitted last night, after his side failed dismally against Champions League minnows Rosenborg in an embarrassing 1-1 draw with the Norwegians. After his third successive game without a victory, the Chelsea manager lambasted his side for failing to convert their possession into goals.

Chelsea needed an equaliser from Andrei Shevchenko eight minutes after half-time to rescue them from potentially the most humbling defeat in their recent history after the Rosenborg defender Miika Koppinen scored in the first half. Another goal conceded from a set-piece was compounded by a sparse crowd of 24,973 and no progress, Mourinho said, in the rehabilitation of his injured senior players.

After defeat to Aston Villa on 2 September, the draw with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday and last night's result, Mourinho said that he was "very disappointed".

he left because chelsea where not doing well in league or champions league

if you cannot beat rosenburg at home, how are you going to beat anyone else?

mourinho new this and he decided to leave chelsea

in walks grant, helps chelsea almost win the league and champions league

being given the players in world didnt seem to help jose mourinho when he draw at home with rosenborg
did not help jose mourinho get into a champions league final

yes grant walked in with some of the best players on the planet, yet he did what jose mourniho could not do

not to mention when JM left they where 5 points off arsenal

guess a new manager coming into a team being 5 points adrift and almost winning the title is something anybody could have done

jose mourninho didnt think so and he left

Grant was a brilliant coach imo! Jsheed what are you talking about??? You're deluded. Chelsea just has a abnormally high level of what they expect, soon they will end up like sa, 14 coaches in 13 years (something like that)!

Who knows, maybe he will go back and coach Israel and maybe take them to their first Euro next time. They were pretty close to qualifying this year but maybe, just maybe, with Avrams help they will get there next time.

ice thats awesome thinking man

would be nice for him to go and coach for a team who give him credit for what he does and do not sack after cleaning up someone else's mess

It was a board decision for JM to leave - not just JM's choice - get your facts straight - as for doing what JM couldnt - damn straight he did he couldnt win one cup or comp.

Seriously do you know that Avram has jack****e in terms of qualifications outside of Israel? Really I rate you go look up some info on your beloved Avram before you build a shrine to him.

yes jsheed your comparing JM who has a few full seasons in charge

avram didnt even get a full season and had to clean up JM's mess

its a bit hard to win the league when you start off with a team in trouble and 5 points behind arsenal and your first game incharge is against man united which u lose and go 8 points behind arsenal

its also a little hard to win a trophy when john terry tries to be a hero instead of sending essien to take the kick

go look up wiki jsheed and you'll notice avram never had a full season in charge of chelsea, he cleaned up JM's mess very well though and got chelsea to a champions league final which john terry threw away

you cannot argue and tell me grant never did a good job

hauling an 8 point deficit and getting further than JM in champs league :)

we all know he got a crap deal, we also all know he would be better than jm GIVEN A FULL SEASON

The man took his team to 2nd in the league, final of the champs league and the carling cup.

What does that say for the Uefa Pro Licence qualification?
