Yes indeed we will get to CPT but this will probably only next year and we have not specified areas yet . Sorry that that is not what you wanted to hear but the reality is the fibre roll out process is a long one !

Hi qDot

We have not surveyed this complex as yet but as a rule of thumb we are looking at a minimum uptake between 30-35% to build the business case , if we in a situation where its just a couple of users we have to look at it on a case by case basis and cost will be driven by the distance you are from our closest manhole .

My advice to you is register your interest on www.sandtonfibre.co.za and become your own champion and spread the word with the other residents of the complex, if there is interest we will market hard there and try and reach the critical mass there for you .
 
Is there any roadmap of where area's are getting fibre, and when. I am looking to move, and don't want to move into a dark area

I would also know (fourwaysfibre.co.za) - right now we have another 2 players in the area scheduling similar offers for the Broadacres area - none seem to properly commit - by the looks of it, everyone wanting FTTH registers with all the companies wanting to offer the service and something is going to go south when it comes to expectation management.

I was told on Friday that my Line from Greencom has been activated!

Had a great weekend streaming content with no lag, and downloaded All the updates for anything and everything i could find!

Iv got the smallest package so only the 10meg line but it really is fantastic!
 
Can't wait, though speaking to my body corporate, it might be another two years before we can connect. That is an eternity, the whole lifetime of a cellphone contract.

I registered my interest and have subsequently been contacted by someone from Kiklo to fill in a service request form. Please advise if this is indeed the right channel and that I won't be in contact with Greencom direct.

I've applied for service in Barbeque Downs (Kyalami Manor)

Would it be possible to get some measurable data on the greencom individual Fibre pages -- I.e. www.randburgfibre.co.za

For example, how many people have shown interest, how close we are to your required number of interested individuals
- Maybe a list of which of the areas have the highest interest, so we can see where we stand in the waiting list?
