Hi, I spoke to Dale from greencom on thursday, she said that last Thursday was the last day for line installations at Keswick, (phase 1 and 2). And she said that Friday and Today will be testing and probably tomorrow the installing of the ONT etc.

But yeah I hope it happens today, cancelled my ADSL

I've been told we are still waiting for some of our glacially slow neighbours to complete phases 1 and 2 :/

Yesterday was the last day for the contractor in out complex. I think everything is 100% done and they are moving on.

Those are my estimates for my complex, I am way up on the old Jakaranda-Maroela.

there is another ISP in sunninghill called firestream, they use the same fibre and are cheaper than greencom.

I see they are about R34 cheaper.....

I don't have a good experience of greencom. I will be using firestream who use the same sunninghill fibre. And they are cheaper.

Well, so far I am extremely happy with the performance of my line from Greencom. Always full speed at any time of the day.

It was only for the first day it seems; haven't had a single issue since running full speed at 50Mbps - quite amazing actually.
