Same crystal valley 500gr butter is also around R50 currently from them.
 
Tp is down currently at R90 at Douglasdale pnp. Saw it at R80 at Fourways mall Checkers this weekend. Much better than the usual R120

For how many? I usually wait til Woolies has the 2 ply on sale then stock up. +-R80 for 18.
 
Stopped at Spar Vorna Valley yesterday on a whim. Glad I did:

850g Block of Parmalat Cheddar R80. Normal price there & elsewhere is R110.
Burger Patties on special for R49/kg

2ply at PnP brightwater is under R80 most of the time. I got 2 ply for R65 last week, pnp flora center also normally has it at this price.

Seems to be at most /all Spar stores.

Some of the deals I currently get:
Cheddar and Mozarella cheese is 69 pkg at Seimans butchery in strydom park. Also their biltong and droeworse is really decently priced.
Carrera centre on Republic is also amazing. Bacon at Goodmans butchery tends to be very high quality and is at least 33% cheaper than the supermarkets. Cheese place has cream cheese for about half the normal price and their olives and pepperdews are nice and cheap. The chinese place has really cheap rice that kicks tastics rear in terms of taste and texture. The fruit and veg place is amazingly cheap for in season fruit and veg. Can walk out with a huge box of healthy stuff for under R200. Crazy when you compare it to woolies or PnP actually.
Ice cream co in strydom park has amazing icecream. 5 litre goes for about R53 which is insanely cheap. While there try a soft serve. Huge cup goes for about R8 and is delicious.

i bought a 5l here for R48 from dairy exhange ...it never freezes

And apparently queues were already starting from 7am.
I'll go in a month to check it out....it about 2kms away from me

Lol I stay in Pretoria so I thought why not put the message here, my fellow friends might be able to benefit from this.. but queues from 7a.m. Is sick lol

It's like when Mall@Carnival at Brakpan opened. Went with the in-laws, we queued outside Checkers for about 150m, and several queues to fill up the width of the hall(about 10m), just to go in as people came out.

Told myself, never again.

There's a thread on here as well about when Makro opened in Brakpan. I am just happy I wasn't there, that seemed even worse.

I was at the mall lunch time, its not that bad.

Underground parking is free for now, found parking quickly.
