We have not been able to buy this anywhere in my town. It was the only chicken we would buy. The fact that we only have two supermarkets (a Checkers & a SuperSpar) in the town doesn't help our choiceof where to shop

Mind explaining that to me? I walked out with loads of stuff today and saved a (fraction of a) ton, even scored a R150 discount voucher after SK almost drove over my foot with his segway.

i noticed some prices wernt that great except for what i mentioned

oh and to drive from athlone to save a R100 ..not worth it for me

What i like about checkers though is the coupons .you save some money there
 
Heads up: I went to Pick n pay to get some of the Skip Special, and they were all sold out (N1 City Branch) and apparently at most of the Pick 'n Pay in my area. They gave me rain checks (I asked for 3 x 4 per customer) and it is valid for a month, so when they have it in stock again, I will go get with my raincheck. Please don't walk out if they don't have stock, get your rain check.

My SO, daughter and I were just at pick n pay - there's now a sign up - 1 per customer! We took 3 - we're all customers - they weren't impressed but then agreed if we each paid separately! The manager said there's a shortage. I now have 15 - should last 2 months - lol!

Do you know if they're at all Checkers? I have the paper in front of me and this is what it shows...

Would be really nice if they're having the special to compete with PnP. I prefer Omo.
