So I finally decided to order ADSL. I check the Telkom website and what do you know my exchange is ADSL compliant. So I go with the order. So 3 weeks go by and a phone Telkom back. The request is back from the planning department and it's denied. I can't get ADSL because the lines from the exchange are fiber optic and there is no project to chage them to copper.
So now I sit thinking "Why on earth would they enable the exchange for ADSL if nobody can use it?"
Now the question comes in. Does anybody else prehaps have the same problem? Do you by any chance use a 011 795 exchange? Hopefully if there are enough of us they might change the lines.
Thanks
