GTA 6 delayed again

Take-Two Interactive Software delayed the release of Grand Theft Auto VI again, pushing back the much-anticipated video game by six months to November 2026.

In a statement Thursday that accompanied quarterly results, Take-Two said it’s giving the Rockstar Games “team some additional time to finish the game with the high level of polish players expect and deserve.”

It's a good thing COD games are Day 1 on Game Pass because they would have been screwed next year. Everyone else will have to move their dates.

And then when the game is finally released after all the delays to polish the game, there will still be a massive day 1 patch to fix it

Depends on what you played first. The tone of the game was completely different and was more of a comedy spectacle in GTA1.

Played GTA 1 first when it came out. Was my favourite game for a while. Since then every single subsequent game was an improvement over its predecessor (except for London and the handheld games of course imo). Every GTA has been my favourite GTA and there's no doubt in my mind that GTAVI will be the best game in the series as well. Will be surprised if they mess it up.

Currently V beats IV for me purely because of its map and huge amount of content and stuff to do but IV still has the overall best atmosphere and driving.

London to me always felt like a mistake lol.

And that is the problem with game development nowadays, this game started for the Xbox One generation, now it seems it may p into the next gen... Which means 3 generations of consoles for a game?
Whereas the 360 era you'd get 3 to 4 games a generation for an IP
