GTX295 in RSA

Guys, limited numbers, like 1 spot at a push available, then the total supply sold out for SA.

Be one of only a small number of folks with this card.
 
I read that the gtx295 will be priced @ $499(American dollars!). and I see the Rand is clawing back at the dollar (it's at R9.6 to the $).

so maybe we will be looking @ R5500-R6000 for a gtx295
 
If you buy it there, yes. Then you still have to import it and all the taxes that goes with that...

They can bring in stuff from newegg, not sure on charges and stuff but they have a calculate shipping button, so you can get a price before you order.
I haven't tried them but if you do, let us know how it goes.

Ps. Before xmas you could get 2x sapphire 4850's(Dual slot cooler design) for 3 grand from newegg, so im also keen on newegg:D

no way bru, I got mine for the same price as a measly old GTX280! (Exact same price actually, up to the last cent!)

I dunno how nVidia want's to compete at a GDDR3 vs GDDR5, 896MB(?) vs 2Gigs, 1 GPU vs Dual GPU - at exactly the same price... there is just NO competition there (from nVidia's side)
 
I know, I paid R5500 for mine, but for once I wish that the cards lifespan could exceed 6months, you know, cause I always want the fastest that is available. :D It's getting expensive to upgrade every 6 months.

dude, people are still playing on 8800gt's like said above, which is a 2 year old card. thinking a 4870x2 is gonna last 6 months is insane...c'mon now....
 
hmm...If you had 6 raptors I would of traded you? me thinks a 6xRaptor Raid could give "kinda" good speeds...:D but you only have 2 so i'm gonna havta say no...

Not sure brawler but i am sure someone said the 4870x2 will be faster :p

Boy where they off, this thing smashes the 4870x2 big time.
