Do you seriously not have a single bank account, utility bill, cellphone bill, medical aid statement, fibre bill or something to that effect? What exactly do you need to write in your affidavit for proof of residence?
I wrote one and it was rejected
And no not one of those shady fskers can tell me why.
It seems for some stupid reason the importers code proof of residence requirement is stricter than anything else SARS related, why I don't know.
Do you think they will accept a proof of residence from my local councillor?
I phoned SARS for the 4th time this afternoon and finally got someone on the phone that seemed to know what they are talking about. For Customs they will only accept a utility bill or lease agreement or a proof of residence from your local councillor. I emailed my councillor and they said they will be able to make me one, so holding thumbs they come back to me without me needing to chase them down to much.Do you seriously not have a single bank account, utility bill, cellphone bill, medical aid statement, fibre bill or something to that effect?
This is the answer for a proof of residence, it took 5mins at my local ward councillor (I googled who they were and sent him a whatsapp), I just needed to go into his offices with my ID book and I took my cellphone bill.I phoned SARS for the 4th time this afternoon and finally got someone on the phone that seemed to know what they are talking about. I downloaded a affidavit form, filled in the affidavit and had it stamped by a commissioner of oath. That worked for me.Hello, I'm trying to register but I have no way to provide proof of contact details, as I have a prepaid Telkom Mobile phone number. Any ideas?
Thanks, I guess I will have to do that.I downloaded a affidavit form, filled in the affidavit and had it stamped by a commissioner of oath. That worked for me.
I just did a screen-dump of my prepaid details and it was accepted.Hello, I'm trying to register but I have no way to provide proof of contact details, as I have a prepaid Telkom Mobile phone number. Any ideas?
Do you get this through your phone? Mine's also registered with SARS.I just did a screen-dump of my prepaid details and it was accepted.
The number is already registered with SARS for normal tax matters. Maybe this helped.
I did a screenshot of the PC web page...Do you get this through your phone? Mine's also registered with SARS.
Follow the while process again, but this time on Firefox. That was the only way I got mine to workHi, I've followed the guide and am now stuck at a point where it say's We are busy enrolling you into RLA. It's been been a few weeks now and nothing has changed.
Any idea how long the enrollment into RLA takes?
I wouldAfter getting my code, should I change the profile back to individual?
When I changed back it changed instantly.Anyone have an issue with updating their Efiling profile from individual to organisation?
The change doesn't seem to have taken effect. Tried logging out and back in and also tried different browsers. It's showing me as an individual (except on the change details screen which thinks I'm now an organisation and asks if I want to switch back to individual).
That's right after you'd just been at the same page and changed it?this is the first time i've changed it... and this is what it looks like after logging out and back in again.
