Do what I do, create a name that is obviously South African!!!
Aka: Local is Lekker, Melk Tert, Wille Willemien, Lekka Bekka etc.
Lol, I came across 2 people called "Liewe Seksie Heksie" (iirc) and "Mystic Boer"
Yes, I think Seksie Heksie is a character name (a mesmer) for the guild leader or one of the officers in the Borg guild if I remember correctly. I have always thought that so funny.
Nope, the player of the toon Local is Lekker is most certainly NOT someone named 'Onyx'!!!!! I am proud to say I have the sole guildwars mandate on that name .
To the WrG... I seriously hope you guys are still active. Except for a few bad apples (every clan has them), your clan has certainly been one of the funnest (yes, I know thats not a real name) clans I have visited with. I also fondly remember being cursed out by a few warriors in some of the GvG I was involved in. For some reason noone seem to expect mesmers to be ani-warrior

I do not think anybody said Onyx and you are the same player.
Onyx is a WrG player as Alb said.Yes, it is always fun to see warriors curse when there is an anti-warrior mesmer around. I also like to play mesmer.

Hmmm, I've seen Mystic Boer too, but isn't in CIA, Liewe Heksie may have been, but I think thats a deleted char... We do, however, have a proudly South African Monk (James) called Manto Tshabalala

What's a PUG?
Anyway you can still have a cool South African name that can still fit with your character, just don't go too over the top.
Me, myself, like using unique mythological names that fits with my characters
Using a name like Seksie Heksie for a Faction character set in the East seems kinda redundant
Anyway that's what I think. It may be different from your opinion but that's what makes South Africa great.

PUG is "Pick up Group".
This is normally a group of random players joining together to do a mission or quest. Sometimes they go well, but PUG's are also notorious for being really bad and uncoordinated. Cross your fingers and hope for the best
With the advent of Heroes in Nightfall many players prefer to use their Heroes rather than real people but some quests and missions call for real ppl.

I have both Factions and Nightfall, but I am currently playing only Factions, cause I'm obsessed with Asian culture
I once played in a pick up group, but got my behind thoroughly thrashed, because we didn't work well together. Now I simply just get hirelings.
