Mesmer is a good Sec Prof for Ele.

The main "expensive armours" are the Luxon & Kurzick 15k Armours. Then there is also the End Game 15k Armours.

15k armours as the name implies cost 15k gold per piece and then additionally the normal resources + jade or amber depending on which faction.

i actually don't really even use a second prof with my elems. i just find it better if i stick with one prof.
i really like the luxon armour which can be bought in cavalon

1.) Dell XPS M1710 is the rig i play on.
2.) Crystalline Swords are amongst the rarest swords in the game and can sell for millions of gold. Although normally it will be 100k Gold and XX amount of ectoplasm. (ectoplasm is a rare material that is worth +- 8k on a given day)

I thought you could only get cystalines in HoH reward chests? It was the case that most people would never see a crystaline ingame, personally I think they look ugly, the elemental sword, it is the bomb.

Does does stupid Jung Jae chest(might be spelled wrong:p ) in FACTIONS always just drop a freaking bow.:mad:
I have opened at least twenty of them and every single one contained a bow.
I am a warrior / monk and don't use bows, so if someone can please tell me that they only drop bows, I would stop wasting money buying their freaking keys.:mad:

By the way Warriors rock

No they don't drop just bows, it's actually strange that you got that many bows in a row. It has been noted by some ppl in the community that it appears as if alot of the drops are generally for another character class more than for your own. I'll have a storage clearout sale sometime soon, have alot of purple and golds to get rid off, I'll PM you a link once I've gotten to sort them out.

it appears that my previous post didn't go through, I can't seem to get it. Thus soz if this is a double post....

All chest drops are random, it has been noted by some GuildWars players that it appears as if drops are mainly for the proffessions that you are not playing(thus a possible attemp to stimulate ingame trade), this might be a bit old as I heard it first before factions was out.

I will be holding a sale of some purple and gold max and near max items soon, as soon as I've sorted out what I'm keeping for my characters. I will PM you when I'm putting it up. I have weapons for all proffessions....

No, all chests drop random items. The higher level the chest, like a obsidian chest or a phantom chest for instance have a higher likely hood of dropping a rare item. AKAIK reward chests can pretty much drop anything from uber rare items to absolute rubbish.

If i am not mistaken you can only get Crystalline Swords from HoH and Sorrows Furnace Quest Chest Reward.

Nope, chests drop different items. I would actually leave the chests on the island alone and maybe only start opening the chests after you leave Kaineng City. The rewards will be greater. Of course the keys are also more expensive. Some select missions chests, like Nahpui / Thannakai in Kaineng City, are also worth opening. ;)

Nope. You can get crystallines from the quest reward chests in Hall of Heroes, UnderWorld, Sorrow's Furnace or Fissure of Woe.

The req 9 that dakeyras got will fetch a cool 1.5 mil easily... rest depends on the stats on it. Where did you obtain the sword, dakeyras?

I got it during the Kilroy Stonekin quest from the chest spawns. It was purple with only a 13^50 damage mod. I was only able to get 300k for it. The market is flooded with them atm. I have even seen some go for as little as 80k.

I also agree that crystalines isnt the best skinned swords. I prefer Dead, Tattooed and of course COLOSSAL scimitars.

P.S. anyone want to give me a free colossal scimitar?!?!?!? I flash you my man boobs if you give me one!!! :)

I believe that the wiki is incorrect on this account. According to reports from players the FoW & UW Crystalline Sword drops was removed.

The 2 places left is SF: Purple & HA: Gold
