I would sell it sooner than later.

There was a post in the guildwarsguru forum a few days ago outlining how to farm for the purple Crystalline Swords in SoF. So the market will get saturated soon.

Just my luck that they take away the best stuff when I start playing...:(

BTW can anybody explain Farming to me? Someone told me it is a great way to get extra cash, but I just don't understand it.

Basically it is "farming" for drops. Certain boss's drop unique items so if you kill him enough times he is bound to drop his green. Like wise with certain quests, there might be a rewards chest that can spit out a cystalline for instance, if you farm it long enough you are bound to get one. This works with most things including faction farming in alliance battles.

Farming is a term that means going out into any area and killing monsters for the purpose of gathering items, experience, gold, Faction, or promotion points. Often you will find parties (especially in the harder areas of the game) searching for people to go farming with them.

farming could also entail killing certain creatures so they would drop items which you can craft and sell for a higher value...

LEWT!! :D=QUOTE]

Ya, considering than next to Zimbabwe, Namibia has the slowest rate of technological development in Southern Africa, it is only natural that I would be a NEW PLAYER
Furthermore dudes, Nam only got Broadband last year in the middle of DECEMBER, (the 15th I think) I would know because I was one of the first people in the country to get it. So until late 2007 all Namibian players will be newbies.

BTW another NEWBIE question:
Were is the best play to do said "FARMING":D

I hear you're in CIA now? If so, you'll soon get dragged on one of our farming sessions and we can show you some other solo spots as we go along :)

The guilds in guildwars is probably the thing that will eventually make me quit. I am just tired of them. I think the best guilds out there is people that actually know each other irl. I have been in too many guilds, where people log and they dont even say hi. Or I log on, say hi and noone answers. That is probably the reason why I havent joined a guild that I can say I truly enjoy.

Dan, it seems you can spell... Thats essentially all we look for in new members :D Oh, then there is the issue of us being rather crude, if you can handle that, give me a whisper in game (Kraathul Ravenhusk).

Dakeyras, I agree with the guild needing that real life touch. We've been lucky in that aspect, it was formed by friends who roped more friends in, for the most part... Even if you have not met the 'regulars', chances are that you'll cross paths sometime.

Next weekend, for instance, our silly old leader along with James and a couple of other twits are coming up to JHB for the weekend. We'll also probably get to meet some of the few 'unknown' JHB/PTA members who come visit after all those hours on TS. :)

As EvilSpinach said, we a cool situation between us. Most of us are about one beer short of a six pack and can laugh at ourselves just as hard as we laugh at each other. There tends to be a fairly adult nature to most of what we can get up to but in saying that I think we even have a 13 year old running around.

It definately helps the entire "guild" thing that many of us know each other or have met so you can often associate a name with a face and often when you do see the faces a few beers go down too :D

I can understand that a few beers can impair your playing so:

DON'T DRINK AND PLAY!!!!!!!!!

You might accidentally hit the wrong button and blow us all up.
