Guild Wars, questions...

The other night? :D

I normally play half asleep so i dont remember :D
I actually once fell asleep in the middle of a Co-Op Mission, woke up too find the party died :D
 
yay... we did the 4k quest last night to kill the baddie by the floating castle... and finally got my first captured skill from a boss... :D
 
Is it possible to transfer a skill from one character to another?

My friend has a necro skill that i want and beacause necro is his secondary,
i can put it to better use:confused:
 
you cant transfer skills from one char to another, you need to do the specific quests for each character to unlock skills.

be aware that a secondary class will not have access to some of the skills of a primary class. ;)

That is not so. It is just if the skill uses the primary attribute of the secondary class, it will only have attribute level zero, since the character only has the primary attribute from the primary class, making it useless most of the time.

I just bought guildwars yesterday and started playing it can some1 please explain to me what this blue and other dyes are that people are selling in the game and what does it do ?

Also sometimes when I enter the game some of the players are just a white block Im using a geforce 6600 with drivers 81.98 is this the newest drivers or are there newer drivers ?

Dyes can be used to change the colour of armor and weapons. Probably not much point in doing that right in the beginning, so initially just keep any dyes you pick up and do not buy any from others, since the prices people try to buy and sell them for in the beginning area are often excessive (selling for too much and buy for too little).

Do the people stay a white block, or do they appear normal after a couple of moments? If it is the second situation, then it is just the game busy downloading what the other people look like. If it is the first, then it does not sound good and might be a driver issue.
 
*SIGH*

Man oh man the Underworld is hectic difficult, got to the 2nd level but when you're facing constant attacks from lvl24 + enemies you eventually hit the deck.

has anybody completed the 5k quest in which you either pick to fight for the Luxons or the Baron? Just tried a test run and yikes! Henchmen are not good enough! :p
 
And another thing is there a south african guild ? I joined a european guild and when they asked me where im from i said south africa. And their response africa is a continent not a country and I tried to explain south african and they still didnt know untill i asked them do they know nelson mandela thats the country and then they knew :D
 
and @ gkm sometimes when I just enter the game they are white blocks and then after a minute or so it changes back and other times the characters stay white blocks for the entire time
 
@DigitalSolider - did you upgrade the drivers for your card? funny how you keep getting those white blocks. I run the game at work on a measly FX5200 and it looks awful but it works.

There are plenty of SA Guilds around, currently we are mostly part of the War Geeks Guild. Give me your online nick and we can try to meet up for a quest run to get you into the game's groove. ;)
 
Ok upgraded drivers and everything works fine and played guild wars till about 3am last night the game actually SUX its too adictive. :D
 
What's the purpose of a guild hall, we bought one and i was bloody disapointed. I've heard so many stories and it seems none of them were true??:mad: No dueling no merchant, all rumors:confused:

I'm looking to buy the game but can't find it anywhere. If u know where pls advise and also as to the price....
 
If you are in JHB I bought mine at Bt games they got a lot in stock also any other shop computer shop in the westgate mall including cna. Or you can look on take2.co.za the game costs about 250-300rand at the various shops.
