*SIGH*

Man oh man the Underworld is hectic difficult, got to the 2nd level but when you're facing constant attacks from lvl24 + enemies you eventually hit the deck.

@DS, welcome to our world :D

If you talk about the one with the four levels, that sounds like it is actually what people call the "New Underworld", for lack of a better name, which one enters from "The Dragon's Lair". It is easier than the real Underworld which you enter from Temple of Ages, when your region has faction. Still impressive to get to the second level. I was there a couple of times before I got that far.

You can enter the Underworld from ToA? do you have to be lvl 20+ to give it a try i presume?

You do not have to be level 20. But you have to be ascended, or the ghost will not let you in and it is pretty hard to be ascended without being level 20, since ascending gives 50 000 XP. :D

Also, the only way to reach "The Dragon's Lair" is through ascending, so while there is no ghost there to check if one has ascended, in effect one has to be ascended for that area as well. (Note, to avoid confusion, I should mention that the new underworld is not entered from "The Dragon's Lair" itself, which is a mission area, but rather from the area right above "The Dragon's Lair", with a passage between the two.)

What's the purpose of a guild hall, we bought one and i was bloody disapointed. I've heard so many stories and it seems none of them were true?? No dueling no merchant, all rumors:confused:

I could be mistaken but i think the Guild vs Guild Battles take place in the guild halls, otherwise a meeting place for guildies?

Anyone here on this forum Playing GW from Krugersdorp North ?
If so what connection u using, as Iburst is not in that area.
ISND ?
ADSL ?

MTN/VODACOM ? (GPRS/Edge/3G/HSDPA)

I bought a house in Krugersdorp North and moving end of the month need to know what the best connection would be....

@Pitbull

Dont know but I finished reading through this thread and some people even play the game on 56k. Im also in the Krugersdorp/Ruimsig area and I use ADSL

Thanx Guys.

I work for MTN in Fairland Roodepoort and would like to use my Staff Sim
for a connection as that is free. So if he used GPRS on vodacom and no problems... HELLLLLLLLLL YEAAAAAAAAA

TY guys

no probs ;p

I can only recall 1 occasion that he had some lag on GPRS.

Started my new character this weekend (Ranger/Warrior) , i chose warrior as a secondary for the health skills as well as "Sprint", figured that if the rest of the party was on the floor i'd probs need to run as quickly as possible :D

So far the Ranger is cool, completely different style of play and i'm still in Pre-Sear.

On a side note, Pre-Sear seems really good for dye drops, in 2 evening plays i've picked up 11 dyes (3 silver), none black though.

Since you have a character that has completed the game, you can also try a quick queen farming session with a queen farming group, there in the desert. I think I got three max damage bows in one run the other day. I only noticed the number, because another person in the group wanted a bow.

i have a couple of nice swords in Storage ( gold & purple ) so i might be keen to start a Warrior too, just not sure of the 2nd profession.. tired of going Monk all the time.

Thanx useless will be appreciated.

Not sure that i'm going to be online tonight, need to spend some time with the mrs and take a day break from GW :D

So far i'm finding that Post-Sear is a lot more difficult with a Ranger, that combined with a glitch that saw me loose my Pet.

my ranger was my first char of GW and i gave up on her after re-starting playing... dunno why but she seems underpowered and even after i tried swapping skills and so forth still seems edgy when confronted with enemies at close range.

That's what i've found so far, although i dig the ranger, she really seems to be a supporting player. I cant do enough damage from a distance at fights normally end at a "melee" distance.
