What do you think I can do? They will probably attempt to deliver to my home when I'm not there.

Depends on the guy, but someone might phone you (and ask you to phone him back because he has no airtime), and tell you about fees payable. Just tell him to keep at at your nearest post office and you'll come collect. Make sure you have your local tracking number otherwise they get all upset. You can pay by card at the PO
 
My package seems to have become "lost" since the 18th.

It cleared customs... but it has been sitting in a depot somewhere since then. Trying to get information on it from SAPO and MyProtein - no word so far. MyProtein hasn't responded yet.

SAPO/EMS are such [insert range of swear words]...

My second package was delivered again without any prior notice. And first the guy offloaded the wrong box. Luckily from experience I know MYProtein boxes are heavily branded and I saw it wasn't my box.

The tracker on SAPO still shows my package at Customs even though it has been delivered. The Intl Tracking site actually had it updated the very next day to "Delivered".

I'm going to ask MP to please make use of alternative courier companies before I will use them again. Sure 2 weeks and 3 and half weeks aren't too bad for me but the inconsistency and lack of info is just not on with EMS.
 
Well what can I do? Just wait?

They should at least give you the option. I'd be happy to pay double the courier fee if it meant avoiding SAPO.

The SAPO tracking site does track my parcel, but it ends 2 weeks ago after it cleared customs. It doesn't give an alternative tracking number.
 
I get my supplements mostly from Supplement Factory and specials on TAKEALOT. My protein mix is one flat scoop of SSN's 100% Pure Protein and 2 flat scoops of Supplement Factory's unflavoured whey protein. It gives by far the highest percentage of protein per shake on the market, contains no sugar and very little other fillers and you can still stomach it even when taken with water (but please make sure it's cold).

Currently on he hunt for a new pre-workout. The Neurocore Advance I'm taking now is very...meh.
 
Lurking this thread I'm amazed that some of you are willing to deal with SAPO just for a supplement. Must be good.

Might be the last time I do. At least I ordered 10kg which should last me quite a few months.
 
So finally the post office responded to my queries. They gave me the SA tracking number, which I can now use to ask my local post office where it is.

Interestingly, she said it was out for delivery on the 20th. However, if it went out for delivery, then my complex gate would have called me. Since they did not call me, did they try to deliver it? Recall that I gave them my home address instead of my work address - which I regret.

Part of the problem is that I don't think the order has my phone number on it. So, they can't phone me to ask where I am.

I must say, MyProtein's terrible customer service and SAPO's terrible customer service combined make this a frustrating exercise. I think if everything goes according to plan, then you will receive your item. However, if something goes wrong somewhere in the process, prepare for hours of frustration. MyProtein does not respond to customer service requests and the SAPO responds every Tuesday if it is a full moon and someone is dancing barefoot on the ceiling of Trump's office. So, not often.
