Bryan Habana may make a move from the Blue Bulls to Western Province. He is currently in Cape Town, in talks with WP executives. The Blue Bulls RU may find their bill much bigger if they want Habana to stay with the Bulls. This comes after Wynand Olivier agreed on a bigger contract with the BBRU, after WP offered him a new contract for the 2010 rugby season.

I think Habana is past his prime. If Habana wants to go, let him go.

Habana is old news... Move onto another guy, a younger guy who has more talent.

Yeah seeing as we are keeping guys like Bakkies, Matfield, Du Preez (which I am sure has the lowest pay of the big names yet is seen as the best rugby player over all atm in general  But I did hear that there family isn't really in need of money :p)

+1

I hope he moves TBH, he's a has been

He isn't old news and still ranks right up there with the best. These days he is just watched a lot better.

Ps If he does move the door opens for Van der heever who imo is the next generation winger for the bulls as well as the boks.

Yeah lots of guys that are fast.

Habana actually does a lot of work instead of just standing there waiting. Same with Van der heever and shane williams, they look for work and thus they are really, like you said, a cut above the rest.

Trust me, the payout from winning the super 14 (and the related offshoots) can more than compensate.

Who would want to move to WP anyway?

Lol, I do not blame players at all. They have 5-10 years in the spotlight and they must make their $$$$ while they can.

and we would all do the same thing in his shoes, hell if someone walked up to you right now and offered you more to do the same job you would also get up and leave :p

Besides the cash thing maybe he wants to play somewhere where they actually pass the ball to him? Hmmm?

He needs to move... too many of the best players were bought up by the bulls. Its better for SA rugby for there to be an even spread of boks over the main teams.

I think he wan't to chill in CT a bit... nothing wrong with that.

Waste of money buying bok players...

Yes millions of rands for winning the Super14 is a complete waste.....

Ps He wanted to come play for the Bulls because we win stuff ;)

He said so himself. A lot of players move to the bulls and stay there even after being made better offers from other clubs/teams. Look at bakkies / victor / du preez / olivier.

But I do agree if he wants to play for the weepee, let him.
