Have you looked at the side affects of common pain killers or other over the counter drugs? Just as scary. It only affects a very small percentage, and of that percentage, only a small percentage of that have any permanent side affects. Of course it's something to keep in mind, but it's like any other drug that you would take daily, where if you start getting a reaction, you stop.

I've been taking Finpecia for about 7 weeks now. No side affects, but I'm not seeing any real affect on my hair yet. Will give it to the 3/4 month mark before deciding if it's worth carrying on.

Mate of mine also only saw difference after about 3 months. But he also started using Minoxidil around 3 months in so it might have been that.

I'm going to use both and see what happens.

Apparently it does take 2-3 months to take affect. I actually bought Minoxidil, but decided not to use it. We don't get the foam-based version here, and the other type is very oily. It's also quite a hassle keeping a strict routine, and can cause skin irritation, which I battle with anyways. So I guess my hope is, either the pills will work, or I gotta give up and shave it off.

Regaine worked for me. A bit bothersome to have to apply it twice a day. Receding hairline almost as good as it once was.

Finesteride killed my dick. Dick working > Hair.

I wonder if anyone has tested the effect of just massaging your head properly with an ok shampoo/conditioner. Stimulating blood flow at the roots and keeping the pores clean might actually be most of the reason for regrowth. Most people only follow a thorough massage routine daily if they buy these expensive products.

I see it only slows hair loss. Loss is eventually inevitable. Waste of money IMO.

Doubt it would help much. It's the dht/genetics. Though I would like a head massage

Hey guys, so I have something interesting to say about this. My brother in law lives in the UK and he has been balding for quite a while now. He built himself a sauna and he has been doing the sauna/cold shower (rinse and repeat) thing for a while now. I am not exactly sure how many times he does it a day etc. BUT, he says that his hair has started to grow back.
