Doesn't bluetooth still have the lag making it not ideal for anything that's synchronised? Plus it's finicky and either works or not.

Bought these a few months ago and was very impressed by the quality and battery life. After 3 months they're still going strong. They don't come out whilst running or gyming. Way better than Airpods and Galaxy buds imo. They are noise cancelling so you can't hear much of the outside world, but that suited me perfectly. Anyway, they're a great alternative to wireless buds that cost more than double.
So I've just listed them on Takealot at R1199 to stimulate sales. This is close to cost, so it's a good buy at the moment. There will be stock in the JNB warehouse in a few days. There are also a few different colours available.
Naturally, check the YouTube reviews and decide for yourselves.

RF (radio frequency) headphones are still best for TV's. Longer range as well.
chuck out your old device. (Yes, some do come with aux inputs).
Seriously, BT headphones are awesome these days although anything approaching audiophile quality is crazy expensive in SA (Sony etc.)
I.t.o. audio quality, if it supports A2DP codec, which all the good ones do, you're fine.

Yes but aux inputs are still cable based.... how do BT headphones connect to something that only accepts cable input? Unless you get a pair that is not solely wireless.

Yes, many of them, even the high-end ones, are not solely Bluetooth (see eg. Plantronics Backbeat Pro and if I'm not mistaken, Bose QC's) - but then you don't get noise cancelling etc. It's just for emergencies.
Did not know they had buyer protection. None of their sister companies do afaik... not vcs, sid or paygate. Best to start a new thread?

And supports APTX/ATPX LL ?
I have the Avantree TC417, but sadly lacks the aptx supported BT Headphones. I initially thought that the Samsung 7QFN would natively support that, but it doesn't, so I need another RX/TX with aptx or just the cans that support it.
The ATH-SR6BTBK seems ok for that, as I just need them for now and then when the SO wants silence I need to tv/game on.
Otherwise, I'm going with a fancy digital audio converter and use an extended 3.5mm (for the cans I do have) from the tv to where I sit

On the page it shows 349 GBP but on checkout only 291 GBP. Landed cost was shown as R6755 but I chose to pay in GBP and with currency conversion it came to R6708 which was confirmed by sms from the bank
Quite interesting that the same item on amazon.com: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074QW86T4 had a landed cost of R9557.
R6700 not bad considering these WD Red NAS drives cost around 4k each on their own.

Is it a Red drive? Did you try and take it out of the enclosure? Or are they white-label drives?
