The invasive permissions of the Wyzecam software is ridiculous, but using it as a webcam is fine - very nice wide angle and decent quality.

Many cheers, was not aware of this(it's still in beta and pretty new I see),
I have worked with Canon cameras ( I have a company offering modification services for astro/infra red/fullspectrum applications) for over 12 years.
I use Magic Lantern for most of my astrophotography requirements.

Just tried it with my 700D,works a charm!
P.S need to get the AF to track(my angelic countenance)

Somebody reported that it works on Canon forum. AF is not working on 5D mk2 but who knows what new version will bring, otherwise I'm quite happy with manual focus and bit wider depth of field.

I wish fuji did the same.

Loot has had everything for sale but only for delivery after lockdown. Still have the notice up. They'll probably ignore that now and start delivering from tomorrow.

We just stick to the rules and charge the Ellies recommended retail price. The other retailers simply add a lot of markup. Big retail stores are renowned for adding a lot of markup. However, they also have a lot of overheads we don't have - and need to cover those somehow. We are a much smaller business with way less overheads.

Most online retailers also add a lot of markup. As an example, if we wanted to sell the same products on Takealot, they would take 15% of the total sale value - and we would have to factor that in somehow by increasing the price (with +- 20%). On some products, we charge half the price - compared to the competition. I know it looks a little dodgy, but all we can do is play the game by the rules.

And yes, we are a pretty new startup. The business was registered in late 2016, just after we completed our training and certification at the Ellies training centre.

The short answer is that it is a legit business. We receive orders from across the country, and deliver from the closest Ellies branch (the products are either delivered by Ellies or their courier partner, depending on the location).

Yep better deliver my stuff. Weird thing. Same item with 2 hour order window, yet 10 days shipping date difference?
