I got the megaboom for 1500 from Amazon December last year. Amazing speaker.

Hi, what keyboard are you using in the photo?
 
How does this work? They buy it from takealot for R1099 and sell it for more?

I'm not a gamer, but will this keyboard be pretty cool for work stuff?

No they dont buy it from takealot, each company source it on their own but uses the takealot platform to sell their goods. Usually volume discounts are given so it depends on the buying power of a particular company.

Who knows. At those markups they may as well be buying from Takealot and then selling there.
 
Pclinkshop sells the same keyboard for R94 more than takealot (incl shipping) on their own website. Does not make sense takealot would be their supplier. Takealot does add a sizeable chunk to the prize for using their site to sell stuff though.
