yeah just got off the phone with Evetech about my 1st order, I see why everyone is hating on them.
really not happy with their customer service. they blamed Covid 1st, then my area thats apparently not a main Center (Cape Town) Both are obvious lies.
Funny thing is I placed orders with 2 other shops a day after my eveT order was placed and I already received the 2 orders I placed after eveT, but no eveT order, its not even in Western Cape yet
Times like this that a bargain does not feel like its worth the frustration...

Got a faulty drive from Firstshop some time ago - sent it back fairly quickly.
They replied:
"No refund. You removed the top screws from the drive, destroying it".
Like, wait, what in the ****. Who would open a harddrive?
Strangest ploy to try and weasel out of honouring the warranty I've never seen.
After a lot of back and forth and some months going by, they finally apologized and refunded it.
Was such a kak and unnecessary experience that I wouldn't buy anything other than keyboards and such there.
Experiences like those makes one want to record a video of the product, place it in the box at the couriers and show them seal it and walk away with it - just to cover your own ass...
