Anyone used this SSD before ?
One at home was seizing intermittently.
Got one for a client and it just died after a few months. Wootware was kind enough to swap out for a different brand on my request.
So personally I'm avoiding them now along with OCZ and Crucial.
SSD brands of choice as far as reliability goes from my semi-small sample size: (Around 50 each)
#1 Samsung, #2 WD, #3 HP
No failures to date.
Other brands I've had quite a few.

Is 27" not too big for 1080p? Very low dpi
I currently have a Samsung 27" and am very happy with it. Bought it 7 years ago for around the same price!
Will repeat in case
<= 24" go for 1080P
24" to 28" go for 1440P (2K)
28"+ go for 4K

I bought a 180gig corsair force gs in 2012. It was in my main PC for about 5 years and it's now in my Media PC. Both PCs are normally switched on. The SSD hasn't missed a beat yet, touch wood. Read Speed almost maxes out a SATA port, Write is marginally slower.
Sometimes it pays to lay out more money for quality.
To most people it doesn't matter. While I agree, I doubt anyone looking at this price point wants to purchase a 1440P monitor.
For sure, it was just for reference. That's a good price for a 27" monitor, as long as you realise it won't look so good due to the sub-optimal resolution
Spot on - it is great for spreadsheets and email, etc.
You should see spreadsheets on a 27" 1440P - I'm no accounting / finance type, but it even makes me happy. So many cells on the screen... mmmm...

I'm running a Philips 27" for a while and also very happy. Guess it is subjective to a certain point, some people being more sensitive to the DPI and also depends exactly how far you are away from it as well as exact viewing angles and position on your desk. All panels are also not created equal and some just seems to give you a better overall experience.
Not a subjective thing. Once you experience 1440P or 4K you won't be able to go back to 1080P on 27" monitors.

Well yeah that is why I said "subjective to a certain point" - when I upgraded from my 24" to my 27" it was an improvement to me, in essence I did not know what I was missing and I did not compare it to a 2k / 4k monitor of the same size cause I have never experienced better, but it was still a big enough improvement for me from my 24" experience.
I have also seen big differences between different makes of the same size monitor and like I said not all panels are the created the same, some panels just look better.
