It's also worth checking if your board can support SATA over M.2

Some boards accept both but others want one or the other or else they won't detect the drive.

Old 2.5" SSDs runs at the same speed. So only if you don't have space for a 2.5" it might work. 2.5" SSDs of same same goes for around the same price....

So same speed same price, smaller, less cables, no need for drive bays of janky tape install

Makes sense if the M.2 slot only support M.2 SATA and not M.2 PCIe otherwise I would personally rather install a 2.5" SSD and save up for a decent M.2 PCIe.

Didn’t pay flex have that r50 off special? Is it still available?
Yes it is only for new members. Think you have to sign up on their website first before doing your first deal on a partner website. I never knew that and only found out after doing a deal on geewiz so did not get the discount.

Agreed - think I faffed my point because you just summed up what I was trying to say lol

Thanks! Just ordered 2x extra ones.

Anyone have an indication where I can pick up a battery base for these at a decent price?
I only know of geewiz stocking any but at almost R800 not worthwhile.

I think I can rationalize it to make the purchase... Wasn't it 8 hours battery life?

I'm sure I can convince myself....

Slightly older model, but 3 year warranty and a good price imo. You'll get an additional 500 off directly from Epson if you buy before the end of March.

We have this printer and it is fantastic.

Just be warned that if you buy it for the Google Cloud Print functionality, that it no longer works. Google pulled support for it at the end of last month.

We had to buy a freaking new printer due to this. These epson ink-tanks rock...
