most guys i know is happy with hikvision, its probably just a rebrand of another brand of ssd.

That’s what I was thinking, they use Micron memory going by the 2 reviews of earlier models I could find . It’s strange that you can’t find almost info/reviews of the E3000.

Evetech aka the devil still has the Hikvision E3000 512GB NVMe SSD's for R699 + R99 shipping.
Has anyone ordered one and have any feedback?
I see they have no Dram but it seems almost all ssd's are like that barring the really high end ssds?

Another option is the WD Blue SN570 500GB NVMe SSD for R979 currently incl shipping on TAL:

Got my gf a Hikvision drive a couple of months back after her drive died. Seems all good but she's not exactly a super techy person.

6800 R13999

Would have bought this but its seriously long and wont fit in my case damn only 1cm too long...
My card is 317mm and it touches the front fan shrouds. Not sure how 340mm fits in most cases

For my new rig I bought this Corsair case because it was nice and compact and according to the specs it will fit a GPU up to 414mm in length. I have a 29cm GTX 1080 in here currently and it does look like it will easily fit a 340mm card.

I know its probably too late but I bought the Hikvision E100 ssd 250gb. It only lasted 3 months. Bought it from Evetech on their one special. It has a 5 year warranty. I contacted Evetech not expecting much but they replaced it, no additional charge for shipping both ways. Credit where its due.
Drive is the primary on a old notebook I run next to TV as a media player/downloader. I dont think I would trust it as a primary on my main pc. If this one crashes its just a mission to replace and reload windows but no real data loss.
New drive is around 2 months old now. Hope it lasts.

I reckon Evetech has sorted a couple things out behind the scenes. Also had an easy experience with an SSD I RMA'd with them. Drive was just within its 3 year period and they sorted it out with no fuss.

I've never heard of such a contraption.

Is it intended to prevent cats from knocking an expensive mouse off the desk?
