I know its from Evetech but its very well priced IMO.

Whats sad for me is I just priced a 4k usb-c monitor for one of my friends in china earlier, and it was substantially cheaper than that. We get really screwed on display pricing here.

Blame our govt taxing our monitors as TVs, and the fact that most of our stock comes from EU (at least the last time I checked).
 
Not sure if 22% saving is a bargain for some people but this is the first time (aside from black friday) that i see a qled tv dip below the R10k mark

Isn’t Quantum Dot Samsung tech, does that mean it has a Samsung panel in it?

Afaik quantum dot is only the film on top of the panel that filters out certain wavelengths of light for better colour.

I stand to be corrected but the quantom dot tech itself is not a proprietary thing owned by samsung.
Hisense uses their own panels for their TVs (besides their oled range).
