Does this look right https://www.takealot.com/1tb-ssd-portable-hardrive/PLID93383700 ?

Seems like it could be pretty much a scam. The ones with a bloody sd card in them
I see the TA seller also has a 2TB for R750

BUT - according to a pic of the box it's just an enclosure :)

ADATA XPG GAMMIX D10 32GB Kit DDR4-3000 CL16 1.35v AX4U3000316G16A-DB10 Desktop Memory

ZAR 1,000.00

Needed some ram. Thanks!
Anyone that bought that ram, how is it?
Theres not much info about it on the web but Adata seems like a decent brand so probably should be fine.

My PC actually running now. Had some memory errors on my previous set that caused resetting

The specs are hilarious

Noise Level: 6Gb/s
Has External Power Supply: Yes
Speed: 5400rpm
Cache: 4TB
Wireless: Yes

This is clearly a magic 1TB SSD with flash memory that somehow spins at 5400rpm, with a cache 4x larger than the storage itself and is wireless nogal. Not sure what 6Gb/s sounds like though.

Just to confirm previous set = errors , Adata set = all good?
What speed are you running it at and in conjunction with what CPU?

Seems like a very loud SSD, @DTBA please confirm noise level of this SSD. :p

Spotted these two on wootware seems like a good deal:

1TB Muskin Tempest NVME R849

2TB Muskin Tempest NVME R1479

Niether have cache so expect a big speed decrease on bigger files, but for a secondary NVME its probably a good deal.
