Is there a Black Friday thread for PC hardware? I'm specifically looking for a full gaming PC or laptop. Mid to high end specs in the R30k region or lower.

What screen size? The ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2023) is available for R25k from Amazon. Seems to be quite a bit less than local!

Perhaps as a mid-tier option? Though I'm not very up-to-date with pricing etc, it's likely possible to build this from scratch for cheaper.

There isn't really a dedicated thread for that but with a max budget of 30k, you can get a really great Gaming PC with almost a top of the line GPU but similar hardware in a laptop form factor will cost you quite a bit more.

I recommend using Wootware's PC builder to pick out parts then they'll assemble it for you and everything and if you're really looking for a laptop then take a look at their wootbooks.
@Progenix Oj101 also has decent pricing for some parts as well.

There's another store you could take a look at for prebuilts but you need some big cojones to place an order with them.

Yeah. Took a chance on one and thoroughly impressed. Planning on ordering some more of their stuff because the quality seems pretty good for the price.
