For nearly R2K more (2700x = R6600 from evetech, R7K elsewhere) you maybe get 10% ?

But then the TR is on a different platform (... Ryzen 3,5,7 is on AM4

Don't go for 1st gen. You're going to be hamstrung by memory and memory makes all the difference with Ryzen.
