Anyone know of a mouse that works 25m away from a PC over Bluetooth? I have a fcking impossible customer.

Logitech MK710? Combo kb+mouse, but it still claims 10m and is not bluetooth afaik - have seen one working quite a distance away from the receiver. Bit expensive though.

Personally I just get a USB extension cable and tend to stick the receiver on top of (or wherever it gets better signal). At home my receiver is on a 5m USB lead to avoid any issues.

Yeah but really fancy mouse which can be used in the air with gestures and also voice commands, so bit of overkill
Yeah an overkill.. but if that dongle will improve things, then it will be quite cool to have it for bluetooth speakers, headphones etc. when you braai or do gardening :X3::p

There is a way to use an android phone as a mouse IIRC. 25m WiFi connection is no problem

Run an active usb cable, with the dongle at the end

This is a very good idea, however, will there be enough throughput as I know that USB cables start losing throughput after 5m.
It's active, so it's powered externally. Normal usb cables are thinner and the spec is 5m based on the output of the usb port. This is different
