I bought external hard drive enclosures of that make about two years ago. They've worked very well FWIW. I have old laptop drives in them, Hitachi, but the enclosures haven't given any problems.

Had a look at it earlier in the week - "normal" price was R2999 with free delivery. So if you aren't close to them this is more expensive with delivery
