Pre lockdown it was typically R1299 and hardly ever marked down. R1099 pre lockdown would have still been a good deal in my books, I watched the price for a while and then found a 2hnd Lit box and got that instead.

Esquire now has it for R4987.50 incl shipping, thinking of getting one too as this is R500 odd less than wootware even

Yeah haven't bought much from them in the past cause I could most of the time find the items I wanted cheaper elsewhere. When I did buy from them and had warranty returns I usually had to travel from where I stay in JHB to their midrand branch and would then exchange items without problem though.

Not the same in Cape Town. I used to buy from them a lot. When I had the occasional return, I'd have to wait weeks for a credit and always had to ask about it everytime I was there. They were small amounts usually, under R200.

I still buy from them sometimes, no issues with their products, but warranty is a bit of a hassle.

I guess it depends on the item(s) you bought. Mine has mostly been higher valued items than that but in general I have had good service from their Midrand branch.
 
Don't you have to be a dealer to get stuff from Esquire? I was under the impression that they don't sell directly to the public.

They do sell to the public if you're a My broadband member but give them a call and see what they say about selling directly to you.
 
Are there any good deals on PSU's? My Sharkoon 500w PSU finally gave up on me after 6 years of usage.
